God's Promises

God promises us many things such as salvation and life as long as we choose to follow his commandments and follow his Son,Jesus Christ, Who died on the cross to set us free from sin. I want to bring some of these words to your attention. These are some of the things God gives or promises us:
G- GOSPEL
O-OVERCOME
D-DELIVERANCE
S-SALVATION

P-PEACE
R-RIGHTEOUSNESS
O-OMEGA ----God is the beginning and the end!
M- MERCY
I- INDESCRIBABLE
S- SAFETY
E-EVERLASTING
S-STRENGTH

We are so blessed to serve an AWESOME and MIGHTY God!!!!

Born Again

When I was 10 years old, it was a Saturday night and my grandmother was spending the night at my house. That night as she was telling me stories like a lot of grandmothers do to get you settled down and  asleep I remember asking her what it meant to be saved and she told me about why Jesus died on the cross and she shared with me her testimony...One of my favorite memories! The next morning I went to Church with Jesus and Salvation on my mind! Immediately after church that day I went up to the preacher and told him I wanted Jesus in my heart so he prayed with me and I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior that day! Best decision I have ever made! You don't really understand how joyous life can be until you inherit the holy spirit! When God's spirit indwells your heart and soul you truly understand the meaning of life. Before you ask Jesus to come into your heart you are a dead man walking... Jesus is Life! You must be born again to enter heaven. What I mean by born again is simply this:
You are born the first time when your mother physically gives birth to you.
The second birth is a spiritual birth...you ask Jesus to give you life.
Just admit to God that you are a sinner repent and turn from your sin , Believe Jesus is God's son and that he came to this world and died on the Cross to save you from sin. Confess your faith in Jesus as your savior and your Lord and Choose to live your life for him FOREVER! 

John 3:5 says (this is Jesus speaking)
"I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh , but spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, you must be born again.' The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going . So it is with everyone born of the spirit."

I love it when I see people experiencing God's love!

The reality of Hell

Now this is going to be a harsh message .....not many people want to hear. This past weekend we had a Discipleship weekend at my church where you spend the whole weekend with your youth group fellowshipping and studying and really buckling down on God's word. This years theme was a MIND FOR MISSIONS! There are so many Lost people on this DYING world! We as christians need to get on our faces daily and prayfor our lost friends, because if they do not profess Jesus as LORD and SAVIOR of their lives when they take their last breath on earth the will spend eternity in HELL!!!! I know this hard to read. But it is the truth! You know what the church needs to feel today.???.... WE need to feel ANGUISH!!!! We need to feel what God feels for his people the ones that blaspheme his name and curse him and all his blessings!!! This is NOT RIGHT!! Joy begins with ANGUISH!! I pray that the Lord lets feel the brokenness he feels for his people so we as church will feel what he feels and act as the hands and feet of christ and tell his people the WAY!!! I feel so convicted of being selfish and a total brat!!! WE born again believers need to GO. Go SHARE Go SERVE Go LEAD Go LOVE! Morality doesn't get you to heaven! JESUS does! Everyone needs Jesus! Then you will walk the way he does and be Christ-like! THis weekend i really believe there was a spiritual awakening! There wasn't a dry-eye in GOD"S house! We really understood the word anguish! As Romans 10:9 says
That if you confess with your mouth," Jesus is Lord." and believe in your heart that GOd raised him from the dead , you will be saved!

If you are already saved pray for the lost, if your lost accept Jesus you won't regret it!

Jesus: A Man's Best Friend.

During my quiet time this morning...which was on the way to school....I came across a scripture that I would like to share:

Proverbs 18:24
                            A man of many companions
                         may come to ruin,
                            but there is a friend who
                         sticks
                            closer than a brother.


After reading this I started thinking about how sometimes we as christians feel ashamed or maybe not ashamed, but get upset because we "don't fit in" or our "friends" slander us because we love Christ and we show it....But don't forget about Jesus just cause your around your "friends" and don't edit what you say for example: just cause your around  Mary don't avoid Jesus in your conversation because she isn't a christian....you might just be the one to lead her to Christ. Jesus  is the BEST friend you will ever have! If all of your friends were to abandon you guess who will still be there for you....Yep you guessed it! JESUS CHRIST!!!! Glory be to God!  Someone may have many friends but thhey aren't promised to remain but that one friend that "sticks closer than a brother" will remain unchanging for ETERNITY!!!!
