JESUS SAVES!

I encourage you to meditate on the words and if you feel the urge to sing and exalt the name of Jesus, by all means go right ahead!!!!!
"We have heard the joyful sound:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Spread the tidings all around:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Bear the news to every land,
Climb the mountains, cross the waves;
Onward! ’tis our Lord’s command;
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!

Waft it on the rolling tide:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Tell to sinners far and wide:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Sing, you islands of the sea;
Echo back, you ocean caves;
Earth shall keep her jubilee:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!

Sing above the battle strife:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
By His death and endless life
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Shout it brightly through the gloom,
When the heart for mercy craves;
Sing in triumph o’er the tomb:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!

Give the winds a mighty voice:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Let the nations now rejoice:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Shout salvation full and free;
Highest hills and deepest caves;
This our song of victory:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!"

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
-Romans 10:13

Family

      I have been blessed with a great family; a loving father, a brother, who even though we have our disagreements,  has been my best friend, and my late mother who was a great godly influence in my life. When my mother passed away and went to be with the Lord in paradise, I was 14 years old. When this happened it made me realize how much I needed God in my life. I was saved at the age of 10, even though it hurts me to say this now, I was a lazy christian.I was in church every Sunday but I wasn't praising Jesus every other day of the week like I should have been.
        After my mom died my best friend invited me to come to church with her on a Wednesday night. To be honest, at the time I did not want to go. I was trying to think of any excuse not to, but I didn't have one. I went to church with her and that night it hit me...HARD....that I wasn't giving God my all! Ever since that night I have attended church there. I have met so many great life-long friends. I have also had the priviledge of being a part of their Church Family. In the past year I have grown really close to one family at the church that I attend. I know that if ever, or whenever I need something or someone to talk to that they will be there for me. I know that God has brought us together for a reason. And in his own  mysterious way God has made me a part of their family. I would do anything for them! They would do anything for me. They treat me as their own. I appreciate everything that they do for me. Brent and Mandy have so greatly impacted my life and my walk with God. Mandy is the one person that I look up to. She inspires me everyday. I pray that when I grow up I will be as good of a mother and loving wife as she is. I pray daily that I will be the best godly, role model, that I can be for Abbey and Little B.

     Thank you Lord for both of the amazing families you have allowed me to be a part of! I am so blessed to have every single one of these special people in my life.

I  Love you, Lord!

Count your blessings...name them one by one!

This morning I started thinking about a favorite hymn of mine...
"Are you ever burdened with a load of care?
Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?
Count your many blessings, every doubt will fly,
And you will keep singing as the days go by."

Do you take the time on a daily basis to stop and thank God for all that he has done for you? Or all he has blessed you with? Personally, I find myself (as bad as this may sound) thinking I'm "too busy". This morning  it has really hit me in the face how much God has blessed me with and how little I thank him daily. Instead of making time to fit quality time with Jesus in....I need to spend time with Jesus first and foremost, then fit my day around Jesus! I want to be Jesus centered. Thank the Lord today and everyday for all the blessings he has given to you!

"For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield."
-Psalm 5:12
